Urban Outfitters Purchases

I recently ventured, yet again, into the huge Urban Outfitters at Oxford Circus, seeing the unmissable discount posters in the window. I only bought two items however they are both absolutely gorgeous and will be wearing them for a good while!

Jeans

I absolutely fell in love with these jeans when they first caught my eye. I had been searching for a nice pair of boyfriend jeans for a while as I hadn't yet seen any that I really loved (sometimes I try them on and the shape is just completely wrong, or I dislike the colour!) but these were just so unique and I hadn't seen anything quite like them before. I love the flexibility of what you can wear them with - so far I've worn them very casually but also have used them to dress down a more formal outfit. They were on sale for £100 after being dropped from £300 to £200 (both of which I thought were extortionate even for these lovely jeans) and I just had to give in. On the website I have linked to they are priced at £95.

The shoes I am wearing in these pictures are the Vagabond 'Dioon' in suede which you can browse here (in leather - I couldn't find the exact suede ones but they are available on other sites). I have owned them for a while but I think they were around £90 from Topshop Oxford Circus.

Jacket

This jacket appears to be a favourite for many! I wasn't sure whether I wanted my next jacket/coat to be more formal, or to go for something like this but as I thought that I would get more use out of something more lightweight and casual, I decided to pick up this. Also available in navy, it looks great with black jeans and chelsea boots or even a flowing dress (I found myself experimenting!), going for a more sophisticated look maybe. This jacket retails for £55 - which is, what I think, quite reasonable for a simple jacket of great quality.

I was wearing just a basic grey long-sleeved top underneath from Brandy Melville - I adore their clothes and their tops are incredibly soft!

Daily Makeup Products

My basic makeup routine doesn't change too much (except for when I invest in new products of course) as I like quite a natural look for school and going out in the daytime.

Skin

I actually don't own a foundation as I have quite clear skin and don't really need to cover it. However, I do have the MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer in the shade 'NW25', which you can browse/purchase here for £15.50. I usually struggle buying concealer in drugstores as I can never find a shade that matches my skin tone well or is the right consistency but MAC have a huge variety of shades and there is a range of concealers with different coverages to suit you.

I use this product to cover my dark circles and spots when they pop up. I definitely recommend this concealer as it isn't cakey or too thick - it is perfect if you don't want a very high coverage but just to cover odd spots and even out your skin.

For my cheeks, I use the Benefit Majorette cream-to-powder booster blush, which you can browse/purchase here for £23.50. You can wear this under another blush to make the colours 'pop' more however I really like the colour of this product so I wear it alone. It gives a healthy but not over the top glow and generally brightens your look. I wear this everyday and never really stray from it - I love this product!

I apply it with the Benefit Foundation Brush, available here for £20.50. Although expensive, this brush is so soft and applies product so smoothly - it makes your skin looks flawless!

Eyebrows

I take great pride in my eyebrows, especially as they are the feature of the moment. I am naturally blessed with relatively thin (but not sparse) eyebrows although they have a nice shape to them making it easier to fill them in how I like them. I use the MAC Eye Shadow Pot in the shade 'Mystery' to do so, available here for £13.00.

I use the MAC 208 Angled Brow Brush (buy it here for £16.50), which I find perfect as it allows really precise definition of your brows. Before and during doing my brows I brush them through with some small brushes I picked up at MAC.
Afterwards, I keep them in place with the much talked about Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara. I own the clear version although it comes in a couple of shades of brown and a dark blonde. You can pick up this product at your local drugstore or here for £4.99.

Eyes

As I like a natural look for daytime makeup, I usually only apply mascara. My current favourite is Benefit Roller Lash, it gives a nice curl to your lashes and visibly opens your eyes. However, it is a pain to get off (although not as bad as 'They're Real' is said to be) and I think it is a little overpriced for what it is. Then again, the packaging is lovely as Benefit products always are and the overall quality is very good. You can purchase this product here for £19.50.

Lips

I always moisturise my lips with a Vaseline Lipsalve to prevent them becoming dry and chapped. I do jump from lipstick to lipstick depending on what I fancy that day, however at the moment I'm loving the MAC Limited Edition Rocky Horror Picture Show Lipstick in the shade 'Strange Journey'. The colour is a beautiful orangey-red, perfect for when you want your lips to pop but you aren't really feeling the Russian Red vibe as you can soften the look depending on how much you apply.

I adore matte lipsticks so the colour and finish combined made it a must have! I purchased this product when I visited Paris in February and am so glad I got my hands on this lipstick as it is limited edition. I sure do get a lot of use out of it as you can see below!
